A New Michelin Star Awarded

The Michelin star for 2026, one of only two in Serbia, was presented to the representatives of Restaurant Fleur de Sel at a formal ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade. This exceptional recognition was received by Dušan Vranić, General Manager of the Šapat Wine Atelier restaurant, and Nikola Stojaković, Head Chef of Fleur de Sel, which operates as part of the Šapat estate.
The ceremony was organized by the Tourism Organisation of Serbia and Metro Cash & Carry, with the awards presented by Marija Labović, Director of the Tourism Organisation of Serbia, and Nadir Kađi, General Director of Metro Cash & Carry Serbia.
In addition to Fleur de Sel and Langouste – the only restaurants in Serbia to hold a Michelin star, now for the second consecutive year – recognitions were also presented to representatives of 25 restaurants that received a recommendation from the prestigious gastronomic guide for 2026 and were included in the Michelin Guide Serbia 2026.
“According to research conducted by the Tourism Organisation of Serbia, gastronomy is the third most important reason tourists visit Serbia, immediately after culture and natural attractions. That is why the development of the country’s gastronomic offer is one of TOS’s strategic priorities. In this regard, the Michelin Guide is an exceptionally important tool, as it connects local values with global standards and contributes to strengthening Serbia’s image as an attractive and modern tourist destination,” said Marija Labović.
