Šapat Wine Atelier at FOOD EXPO 2026 in Athens
Greek visitors show strong interest in our wines
Šapat Wine Atelier presented its wines at the largest food and beverage trade fair in Southeast Europe – FOOD EXPO 2026, held in Athens from March 14 to 16. The event brought together more than 1,300 exhibitors and tens of thousands of professional visitors from over 80 countries.
Šapat presented a selection of its wines to an international audience of distributors, buyers, and wine enthusiasts from around the world at the Serbian national stand, organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. In addition to our winery, other food and beverage producers from Serbia also took part in the event.
Visitors had the opportunity to taste our premium wines from the Atila line, as well as the rest of our portfolio – Šu-Šu, Chardonnay, Bianca, Cuvée, Nera, and others. The impressions were outstanding, particularly the reactions of Greek visitors and local attendees, who responded with great interest and enthusiasm to wines from Serbia.
During the fair, the Serbian stand was also visited by Zoran Gajić, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, and Nikola Nedeljković, Ambassador of Serbia to Greece.
“Participating in this major trade fair was yet another opportunity to present our wines to an international audience, establish new business contacts, and further contribute to the promotion of the Serbian wine scene,” said Mladen Ćirić, Director of Šapat Wine Atelier, during FOOD EXPO 2026.
