Another recognition for the Šapat Wine Atelier by the prestigious gastronomic guide Gault & Millau

Fleur de Sel named the best restaurant in Serbia

Fleur de Sel has been rated the best restaurant in Serbia, receiving 18 points – half a point more than last year – and has been awarded four toques, a distinction recognizing exceptional culinary artistry, awarded by the prestigious gastronomic guide Gault & Millau.

Fleur de Sel is the only restaurant in Serbia to receive 18 points out of a maximum possible 20. Two additional restaurants, each awarded 17.5 points, were also included in the four-toque category. Across the entire Balkan region, only three restaurants have received 18 points – Fleur de Sel in Serbia and two restaurants in Croatia – while a restaurant in Slovenia, rated half a point higher, achieved the highest score in the region.

The Serbian laureates were announced during the ceremonial presentation of the latest Serbian-language edition of the Gault & Millau gastronomic guide on April 28 at Hyatt Regency Belgrade. Awards were also presented in the categories of Best Sommelier, Gault & Millau POP, Best Pastry Chef, Best Young Talent, Chef of Tradition, Chef of the Future, and Chef of the Year.

Gault & Millau is a prestigious French guide dedicated to restaurants, hotels, and gastronomy. It is considered one of the world’s most respected gastronomic guides, evaluating food quality, chefs’ creativity, service, and the overall dining experience. The publication serves as a highly valuable recommendation for guests, particularly tourists and fine dining enthusiasts.

Fleur de Sel has received this distinguished recognition in previous years as well, while our Nikola Stojaković was previously honored with the Chef of the Year award.
